Glossary: 

An Entrance decision means the Candidacy Committee has affirmed the candidate’s potential for ministry and initiates the candidate’s candidacy process in the ELCA. 

An Endorsement decision affirms a candidate’s specific ministry track (happens about half-way through the process) and his/her continued progression through the candidacy process. 

An Approval decision affirms the candidate’s readiness for rostered ministry in the ELCA and initiates his/her assignment to a synod and eligibility for a call.
