- Know your risks
- Make an emergency plan
- Know your evacuation zone and routes
- Recognize your warnings and alerts
- Build in extra time for the needs of those with disabilities
- Review important documents – insurance up to date? Make copies of important personal documents and IDs and secure in password protected space
- Get Tech ready – keep cell phones charged – batteries, extra charging devices
- Help your neighbors get ready, too
- Gather supplies and don’t forget your meds and your pets.
