Interim Music Director

Trinity Lutheran Church in Lilburn, GA is looking for an interim Music Director starting after June 1, 2023.

Main responsibilities include leading our traditional choir, contemporary music group and bell choir by selecting anthems and hymns/songs appropriate to the season of the church year and lectionary as well as leading practices during the week.

This position may be filled with one or more individuals based on skill set and time availability.

The position also requires the director(s) to work with the pastors in selecting liturgy and liturgy music.

The position requires a knowledge of both traditional and contemporary music, the ability to work with and lead choirs, ensembles and other music groups, the ability to work with experienced as well as less experienced people, and the ability to match appropriate music with the themes of the church seasons.

The position is 24-28 hours per week (no benefits) and pay is negotiable based on experience and education.
