World AIDS Day
Every year, on December 1st, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for people living with and affected by HIV and to remember those who lost their lives to AIDS.  The theme from HIV.GOV 2020 observance is:

Ending the HIV/AID Epidemic: Resilience and Impact”
(“Erradicar la epidemia del VIH/SIDA: Resiliencia e Impacto”)

The newly formed Southeastern Synod Diversity and Justice Task Force would like to encourage everyone in the synod to do something to bring focus to World Aids Day.  Consider using one of the litany’s or prayers contained in the worship resource from the ELCA site or use some of the ideas from the other resources listed below.  We have also included some events that are currently planned. Currently planned December 1st Events: November 21, 2020 The taskforce is excited about the important work to come over this next year. Next month we will introduce you to the team and the mission.
