"So Much to Sing About" performed by the National Lutheran Choir.
The Church sings because there is so much to sing about, and singing is the deepest way to embody the sacred story we share. The Minnesota based National Lutheran Choir sings this sacred and spiritual story in a way that is guaranteed to soothe your soul. This eclectic program, led by Artistic Director, David Cherwien, will feature choral works by Felix Mendelssohn and Ralph Vaughan Williams set alongside new arrangements of familiar tunes, including Kenneth Dake's “Sweet Hour of Prayer”.
Please share this special opportunity with your congregations!

A Region 9 Ministers of Word and Service Gathering is planned for March 02-04, 2020. The Gathering will be held at Lutheranch in Tallapoosa, GA. All Ministers of Word and Service as well as current candidates are invited to attend this event.
The theme of this event is "Moving Forward in Christ." Our Gathering will consist of worship, keynotes, study, fellowship, and rest.
We are excited that The Rev. Kevin L. Strickland, Bishop of the Southeastern Synod, and Dr. Mindy Makant, Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Lenoir Rhyne University, have accepted invitations to join us as leaders of this event.
The planning team would appreciate it if this event can be shared with current candidates and Deacons that serve in various capacities across Region 9. We also appreciate your support and prayers as we gather together, learning to move forward in Christ together.
Partial Scholarships to attend this event may be available. Contact Deacon Deborah Poole at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
