An ELCA Event Prior to Generosity Next

You are invited to a special stewardship gathering of ELCA leaders.  We will be meeting the day before the ecumenical conference entitled Spirited Generosity: Offering Vitality in the 21st Century. Please join us for an afternoon of learning, an evening of fellowship, and worship.  Below is more information.

Join us for a day of games, food, and fun fall-themed activities for the whole family. Hit the bullseye on our new archery course, get creative in our craft barn, ride a pony, compete in our scavenger hunt, catch a fish or go for a paddle on one of our lakes. We are excited to share all the fun things happening at Lutheranch.  Gates open at 10am and lunch is served starting at 11am. Admission is FREE!

Who is invited?
Everyone! People of all ages are invited to come explore our site and participate in activities.

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. Most activities will be outside so dress appropriately for the weather (bring a warm jacket or rain coat, bug spray and sunscreen as needed).

How much does it cost?
Admission, lunch and all activities are free!  We suggest bringing some money if you are interested in purchasing an item from our store or contributing a small donation to help cover the cost of lunch.

Where is Lutheranch located?
Lutheranch is located near Tallapoosa, GA, just north of I-20 near the Georgia/Alabama border, one hour west of Atlanta or 1.5 hours east of Birmingham. Enter the address “440 Salem Church Road, Tallapoosa, GA 30176” into your navigation system or mobile app to get directions to our main entrance.

What is Lutheranch?
Lutheranch Camp and Conference Center is part of NovusWay Ministries, a non-profit Christian organization affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.  We offer summer camps and year-round retreats and programs for youth and adults.  We also rent our facilities to individuals and organizations to host their own retreats, team building events, offsite meetings, reunions and more. In spring 2020, we will be launching an equine program with trail rides, clinics, therapeutic and recreational riding lessons and horse boarding facilities.
Our mission is to provide places set apart to inspire and empower all in Christ’s love.

Merry Christmas! Get into the holiday spirit this advent season by joining us at Lutheranch for a festive, family-focused weekend retreat. Activities will include making Christmas tree ornaments and homemade holiday cards, singing Christmas carols, attending an advent worship service, going for a walk in the winter woods, gazing at the Christmas stars, and drinking hot cocoa by the campfire. Ignite the Church Conference 2020

Tuesday, February 11 2020 to Thursday, February 13 2020

Are you looking for a continuing ed event to inspire, encourage & challenge your ministry? Would Florida in February be a blessing?

Consider attending the Ignite the Church Conference in Orlando, Florida, February 11-13. In addition to 4 large group gatherings with talks and panel discussions on topics related to Congregational Vitality, there will be 12 intensive electives on a wide range of important topics like Reaching Younger Generations, Expanding Kingdom Impact, Church Renewal and Discipleship, Renewing Music, Vitality through Mission, Engaging Your Neighborhood, Evangelism, Social Justice, and Raising Up and Equipping Leaders. There will also be a field trip to Orlando's Castle Church Brewing Community, one of the ELCA’s newest and most unique mission starts.

The $99 Super Early Bird registration rate includes 2 meals and snacks when you register by November 30th. Rates increase to $109 in December and $129 in January. 75 Leaders from 20 states attended last year's gathering.
All conference proceeds are donated to the ELCA Fund for Leaders. Last year's gift totaled $2500.
