Transportation and Parking for Installation Service of Bishop Strickland and Staff

Thanks to our Bishop's Installation Team, we have compiled some helpful information in terms of directions and parking availability.

Once again, the location for this service on Saturday, Oct. 5th, 2019, is:

The Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744 Peachtree Rd NW, Atlanta, GA, 30305.  
 

DRIVING?  Here are some PARKING instructions:

There are several parking options available for October 5th; however, parking is limited and it is requested that you consider carpooling.

The Cathedral of Saint Philip has limited on-site parking which may be accessed from Peachtree Street or Andrews Road. Guests may also park along Andrews Road, which runs alongside the cathedral property.

Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church has also graciously allowed us to use their secondary parking lot, located at the intersection of East Wesley Rd. and W. Bolling Rd. From there, it is a half-mile walk to the cathedral.

You may also park in the Blue Lot at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, a mile north of the cathedral and conveniently located on the MARTA bus line (Route 110). If you chose to park at Peachtree Road UMC, you are requested to print out the attached parking permit and display it in your car windshield.

TAKING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?

The Cathedral of Saint Philip is located on MARTA bus route 110. Rte 110 also services the Buckhead and Arts Center MARTA rail stations.
