A note from Pr. Steve Alsleben:
My father is a retired pastor, but served as a missionary in Brazil, Chicago, and Los Angeles, so I got around a bit growing up. Went to Valparaiso University, then Pacific Lutheran Seminary. My first call was to pastor Kingshill and Christus Victor Lutheran Churches in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. I then joined the Army as a chaplain, and served for 20 years in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; Camp Humphries, South Korea; Fort Stewart, Georgia; Bamberg, Germany; Fort Jackson, South Carolina; and Fort Rucker, Alabama. After the Army, I used my GI Bill and graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 2019. I am serving as an instructor at a Florida State Prison in Graceville and as the pastor of Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church in Dothan Alabama. I am married to Cindy, and proud father of Joshua, Mattison, and Stuart.
Welcome, Pr. Steve!
