In 2000 the Southeastern Synod Assembly voted to become a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Synod. The RIC designation identifies Lutheran communities that publicly welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. Many of our synod's congregations are RIC congregations. See the current list below.
