Epiphany Lutheran Blessing of the Pets

Epiphany Lutheran in Collierville, TN recently conducted its annual Blessing of the Pets on Saturday, October 6 at its Community Garden. Special guests included the members of St Andrew's Episcopal Church, Collierville, and Mr. Singh, a Sikh from India who lives near the garden and routinely contributes seeds and plants. Mr Singh doesn't speak English, but the Lankapalli family, members of Epiphany, were able to communicate with him through a shared knowledge of Punjabi. Mr. Singh meditates in the garden every morning and talks to the plants so they will be fruitful. 100% of the produce grown by Epiphany volunteers is donated to area feeding ministries in Memphis. This is the Body of Christ!
