Providing Needs After the Nashville Tornado

In the midst of the devastation from the March 3rd tornado in Nashville, St. John's continued ways of reaching out to our community. We have taken nearly 500 food/snack bags for the children and families in need in our community through our Partner School, Two Rivers Middle. We delivered over a 1,000 feminine hygiene products to a local FEMA Center. The majority of these supplies were made available by Thrivent Action Teams. We have already made plans for several more "teams" when food and supplies are more readily available. Our challenge for our Synod is to use Thrivent Action Teams to make differences throughout our Synod.
