St. Timothy Lutheran Church God's Work, Our Hands

The St. Timothy Lutheran Church congregation created more than 800 sacks of kindness to give to local healthcare workers in appreciation for their efforts above and beyond during the Covid pandemic!  Each sack contained a mixture of goodies such as fun-size candies, granola bars, crackers and other snacks, along with a note of thanks from St. Timothy and a prayer or Bible verse of encouragement. All of the sacks were blessed during the worship service on September 12, 2021, God's Work, Our Hands Day.   The first batch was delivered to Hendersonville Medical Center on September 16, and another batch will be delivered to Sumner Regional Medical Center the week of September 20th.
